SIGNS OF SPRING AT FOSTON CHURCH
As the weather brightens and the days lengthen the churchyard at Foston is no longer a path to rush along but I and, surely everyone, feel the need to stop and appreciate the signs of Spring and promise of Summer, not so very far away now!
The sun on the windows during our services is bright and cheery and somehow makes it easy to forget there is still work to be done restoring the old building. Regular Sunday services are held on the second and fourth Sundays of each month so will be April 13th and 27th with an extra service for Easter Sunday - the 20th. There will also be a service for Maundy Thursday in St Bartholomew’s on April 17th at 7pm everyone is welcome as at all services.
Plans are being made for Foston Flower Festival in June– do look out for publicity about the plant sale and the weekend itself.
