Hello, thought I’d make you aware our once wonderful store on Station Road have been selling energy drinks to under 16s while in school uniform. It appears really difficult to report this as it’s seemingly a grey area, and I feel nothing will change unless parents are aware. A by-election has been called for two Parish Council seats in Blaby village. The by-election follows two resignations from the Parish Council, resulting in the need for two new councillors to represent the authority’s Blaby South Ward.
Voters within Blaby South went to the polls on Thursday 28 November.
The Parish Council Blaby South Ward covers areas south of Freer Close to the village’s boundary with Countesthorpe.

RAINBOW SHOP NEWS
We are expecting lots of folk to our Curry Night while this edition is going to print. Then we have extra opening hours in December - Fridays 6th, 13th and 20th from 2 until 5 each day when there is talk of Mince Pies apart from the usual range of refreshments and goodies and a new popular seller - jigsaws which tend to help while away these cold dark evenings! Just as a reminder - the RAINBOW SHOP is open six days a week form 10 until 12 and Monday to Thursday from 2 until 4 opposite the Co op in the Bridge building
